Opinion OutPost is one of my favorite survey sites

Opinion Outpost is one of my favorite companies to take online paid surveys with. On average you will earn $2-$5 per survey completed and can expect to receive a few surveys a week. It's free to sign up (you should never pay a company to take surveys), just click on the Join button to get started. They will then have you fill in some basic information such as your name and address..you will need to fill this information in correctly so that you can receive your payments. Next they will have you complete a profile..be sure to fill this out. Your profile is what Opinion Outpost will use to match you with survey opportunities. That's all it takes. Here are a couple of tips for before and after you sign up -

1. Be sure to sign up (or create an email account just for taking surveys) with an email address that you check often..at least once a day. You don't want to have an opportunity to take a survey expire because you didn't check your email.

2. When responding to a survey take your time and answer honestly this will insure that you get invited to take more surveys. Lying or christmas treeing will only cheat you in the long run. Remember these companies want your honest opinions so that they can shape the products of today for tomorrow.

Survey Adventure - FREE online survey database

If you're new to taking paid surveys online I recommend that you check out Survey Adventure. Survey Adventure is a great resource for beginners because it offers you a huge COMPLETELY FREE database of online survey companies that pay. When first starting out a database such as this can be highly useful. It will save you the time of having to search out all of these sites on your own.


To get started with Survey Adventure here is what you have to do.
1. Register - it's a free membership
2. Fill out the demographics form
3. Select any promotional offers you may be interested in.
4. After that you will receive an email, you will need to make sure to click on the link inside of the email to activate your account. Once your account is activated you will have access to their database which contains over 450 paying survey companies. Sign up for as many as these companies as you'd like.

Scour - Get Paid to Search

If you're like me you search the internet pretty frequently. I search on average 5-10times a day depending on the information I am looking up. I've recently started to use Scour. Scour is a really cool search engine that compiles search results from top search engines..like google..yahoo and MSN. Scour also has a social aspect to it, you are able to vote and comment on the results after your search. The best part is..for doing any of those activities you earn points.. which you can later redeem for Visa giftcards!

You'll earn 1 point for every search, comment or vote you perform. You'll also be able to earn 25% of the points your referrals earn. It only takes 6,500 points to earn a $25 gift card definately not hard to reach if you search, vote, and comment on a regular basis and have your friends do the same with Scour.

InboxDollars paid me

As mentioned in a previous entry I was expecting a check from InBoxDollars. Well, last Wednesday I received it. The company name on the check wasn't InBoxDollars it was Cotterweb Enterprises, which apparently is the parent company of InBoxDollars as well as SendEarnings.

Do your research

Before signing up for a program on the internet to earn extra money or income I recommend doing some research on it first. Whether you are about to sign up for a PTR like Hits4Pay or DealsNCash a PTC like ClixSense or a survey site such as Survey Savvy I recommend googling the sites..you will easily find blogs or forums where people are discussing the sites and the success they have had at them. Usually, when researching a site I look for several posts that have positive comments and mention members actually being paid by the company. Research is important you don't want to waste your time on a site with a bad reputation..especially one with a bad rep for not paying its members.

Below I will post some links to a couple of sites I use to research the survey sites I am a member of. I will also include a blog or two that I enjoy reading that has tips on making money online

MySurvey123 great site that lists different survey sites..includes reviews of the sites as well as forums.

Survey Police another awesome sites..helps you identify survey site scams as well as those that are legitimate..I also suggest reading the forums on this site.

Paid Opps blog I read this blog every day. Tori (the lady that writes this blog) lists tons of ways you can make money from the comfort of your home with no fees..as well as having some money saving tips..also a great blog for people wanting to learn how to make money from blogging in general or even freelance writing.

DealsNCash

DealsNCash is a PTR ( paid to read ) very similar to Hits4Pay . In fact it is owned by the same reputable company as Hits4Pay.

There are a few differences between DealsNCash and Hits4Pay. though. The first being that DealsNCash is only open to USA, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia residence. The second being how much you can earn per email you are paid to read. You will earn .01 to .05 cents per email with DealsNCash and only .02 cents per email you read with Hits4Pay . The third difference is that DealsNCash only offers one level in their referral - affiliate program .. in other words you will only get paid for the emails the people you have directly referred read..where as with Hits4Pay you are payed 2 levels deep..meaning.. you are paid for the emails that are read by your direct referrals and the ones that are read by your direct referrals- direct refferals..hopefully I didn't make that sound to confusing or complicated.

Over all, DealsNCash is a great PTR program to sign up with if your looking to make a little extra money from home. They send out payments monthly to your paypal account if you've reached the $25 cash out thresh hold..if not your monthly earnings will roll over each and every month until you do reach the minimum cash out point. When you sign up they give you a $5 sign up bonus. Your best bet to make a good deal of money with this program is to refer your friends and family .. or use other methods such as traffic exchanges or free classified ads to post your affiliate link in. The more referrals you have.. the more you will earn.

SendEarnings and InBoxDollars GPT's

Over the last 2 months I have been able to reach (finally) the cash out minimum at both SendEarnings and InBoxDollars...in case you're wondering the minimum cashout is 30 dollars




SendEarnings and InBoxDollars are what is knows as GPT sites or " get paid to" sites.

A GPT site is basically a site that will pay you to do things..such as shop online..complete surveys..sign up for offers etc.

As you can see..I still have a couple of weeks to wait for the first payment..but I will definitely post as to whether or not it arrives.

Free Paid Survey Sites

Another great way to earn money online is through online survey sites and focus groups. Yes, I know what you're thinking..but believe it or not there are many legitimate companies out there that pay you for your opinion.

Sure, it's not a fortune..but still not to shabby for 10 or 15 minutes (sometimes a little more) here and there to answer questions..Sometimes you even get to test new products before they are in stores..pretty cool if you ask me.

YouData

YouData .. I've been sitting here for about 5 minutes trying to figure out how to describe this program.. it's similar to a PTC but not in so many ways that I feel like I should place it into the PTC category.

YouData is trying to convince people like us that we should be the ones controlling our own data and selling our own attention, not third parties like broadcasters, newspapers, and spammers. When you sign up for this site you will create what they call a MeFile. By creating a Mefile you will control the ads you see and when you see them. You're selling your attention to advertisers for real money that you will earn on a weekly basis and is deposited into your paypal account.

It's real.YouData pays. You should check it out. I received my first payment from them on May 1st (pay day is Friday)

ClixSense is another great free money making opp

In the last post I told you about Hits4Pay which is a great PTR (paid to read) opp that provides you with tons of potential for making free extra money. Today I want to talk about ClixSense. ClixSense is what's known as a PTC. A PTC is basically a site that allows you to view short advertisements (usually about 30 seconds)in exchange for money. ClixSense will pay you anywhere from .01 to $5.00 for every 30 second add you view.

ClixSense has two membership levels..free membership and premium membership. As a free member you will still make free money clicking on adds and referring members but as a premium member you will have the opportunity to earn even more. Premium memberships is only $10.00 for a whole year and I stronly recommend upgrading if you have the extra money. You will immediately have access to 100's of adds that only premium members can view and more adds available to you on a daily basis. Below is a breif description from their site on what you can earn as a free or premium member.


Free members (Non-Premium members) will receive $0.01 for each referral and will receive $2.00 if their direct referral upgrades to a Premium account. You will also receive 10% of revenues generated from your referrals' ad purchases.

Premium Members are paid affiliate commissions 5 levels deep!

PREMIUM MEMBERS – You are instantly paid $0.10 for each new referral. When one of your direct referrals upgrades their account to a Premium membership, you are instantly paid $2.00 for that member's upgrade. When that member refers a new member who upgrades to premium you are instantly paid a $1.00 override commission. You just got paid for doing NOTHING! Even better, that same scenario pays FIVE LEVELS DEEP! And now, level five referrals pay as much as your direct referrals: $2.00!!
