An Update

I must apologise to my readers for the lack of updates. I've had a rough start to the year.

Around Christmas time I found out from my brother that my father had been ill ( my father and brother live in Florida ). After going to the doctor for some tests my father was admitted to the hospital for severe anemia and was given a blood transfusion, While in the hospital they tried to find what was causing him to loose so much blood. They found what they thought was an ulcer. After a few days my Dad was released. He continued seeing doctors and had many tests run. It was determined that my father had stomach cancer. After another hospitalization and many more tests we found out that the cancer was also in his liver. He was stage IV. It was decided that there was nothing they could do to save my father..all that could be done was to try and make him as comfortable as possible. My father asked to go home..and we got hospice involved. My father was alive for less than 24 hours after returning home. I guess he got his last wish and was ready to let go. He passed on February 9th 2010.

This has been terribly hard on me emotionally. I was not able to make it home in time to see him..and was not even able to speak to him on the phone before he passed because he was so weak. I miss him. I think about him daily and regret not speaking to him more when he was alive.

As I am sure you can imagine this has been a lot to deal with. My blog was honestly the last thing on my mind in the previous months and I hope you understand.

I have continued to be paid for taking surveys and completing offers online. Some of the recent payments I have gotten are from Toluna,SimpleGPT,InstantCashSweepstakes,SurveyHead, Opinion Place, Survespot,Mindfield, and just today MyPoints.

I have payment proofs from all of the above mentioned sites in previous entries if my word alone is not enough and you would like to see some evidence of payment.

I plan to update my blog more regularly now that life has calmed down a bit. Thank you for your patience.

InstantCashSweepstakes Payment Proof

I've wrote a few times about InstantCashSweepstakes. I've finally received my first payment which was sent through PayPal. I probably would have reached cash out sooner if I was more active with this site but I only remember to actually log on once or twice a week.

InstantCashSweepstakes is a fairly unique survey site. You answer a few quick three questions surveys and are awarded entry tickets into their daily $50 cash prize drawing or you win small cash amounts for the survey. Once you have reached $2 you can cash out via paypal.

You can also invite your friends to join InstantCashSweepstakes.com. The more friends you can get to join the quicker you will earn and the more chances you will have at the daily $50 giveaway because the site matches 100% of what your friends earn..in cash and tickets. For every survey you or one of your referrals takes you will also earn coins that can be traded in at the Bonus Store for cool prizes. Some of the prizes that are currently offered are a digital picture frame, an Apple IPod shuffle, and a Kindle.

You won't make a fortune being a member of this site but the surveys are short and fun. You also have a chance at winning some money and earning cool prizes. It's worth checking it out and earning a little extra money.

SurveySpot PayPal Payment Proof

A couple of months ago I wrote an entry about SurveySpot moving to PayPal. I'm happy to inform you I have officially recieved my first payment via PayPal from SurveySpot...The best thing was..It was INSTANT. No more waiting up to a month to receive a check from them.

I've been a member of SurveySpot for a couple of years now. They are a great company and have always paid me. I can't say enough great things about them. It's free to register (NEVER pay a company to take surveys) and open to members in the USA, Canada, and UK. The only downside to SurveySpot is not all of the surveys you take are for cash. Some surveys only award you with entries into their $25,000 cash sweepstakes. However, the more surveys you take the better. You will find that if you actively participate you are offered several cash surveys a week

Neobux Continues to Pay

Neobux is a PTC ( paid to click ) site. You are paid on average 1 cents per 30 second ad that you view. You're probably thinking that this doesn't sound like a lot but it really does ad up and takes less than 5 minutes of your time a day to complete.A lot of you that own blogs place ads on your blog which only pay a few cents per click. You do this despite the low pay out rate because you know that the cents ad up and eventually turn into dollars. To increase your earnings on this site you can refer your friends and earn half of their earnings.

HCD, Opinion Outpost, and Toluna Proof of Payments

Sorry I have not updated my blog in a while. I appreciate those of you that are still following and taking the time to read this update. I'd also like to apologize in advance for the poor picture quality of the payment proofs that are about to be posted. Hopefully Santa will bring me a new digital camera this year.

The first payment proof that you see ( this is the only one that seems to be legible ) is from HCD surveys. As with all of the survey sites I am a member of it's free to join HCD. Cash out is only $10 and the surveys are actually interesting, usually about current events, politics, social issues, etc. Another great thing about this site is they pay you for referrals. It's only 50 cents per person...but in my opinion, it's better than nothing for spreading the word.

The next proof of payment is from Opinion Outpost. This is the second check I have received from them. It's fairly easy to reach the minimum cash out amount since they only require $5. You can either request a check or an online Amazon gift code. Opinion Outpost will also pay you for each person you refer. For each person you refer you will earn 20 points ( which equals $2 ) upon completion of their first survey.

The final proof of payment is from Toluna ( which recently merged with your2cents ). It took a very long time for me to receive my check after the initial request..but they did pay. I strongly recommend using their VIP gift program when requesting payment because there is much less of a wait time. Since receiving the check I've also requested a $43 visa gift card ( from the VIP gift option ) and it arrived in less than a week. Toluna currently has not referral program that I am aware of.

The Best GPT Site

SimpleGpt in my opinion is the best GPT site out there. And as I am sure you know that is a pretty bold statement for me to make considering how many GPT sites there are to choose from. Well, here is a list of the top 5 reasons I believe make SimpleGpt the best GPT site around.

1. The compensation for completing offers is higher than any site I have run across.

2. Instant Paypal. You can request to cash out every time your account reaches $5. Through Paypal payments are instant. I've never had to wait longer than 1 minute to receive my payment.

3. Active mods and Admin. SimpleGpt has great support for its members. If you have a question bring it to the chat box and one of the Mods will answer your question. If a Mod isn't available there are tons of active helpful members.

4. A great FAQ and tips section that practically walks you through the offer completion process and offers tips and suggestions to insure your offers credit.

5. Regular contests. There is always some type of contest going on whether it's for most referrals or most offers completed in a certain time frame. The offer completion contests more often than not have over 10 places..so it's fairly easy to win a little extra cash. So far I have won two contests..one that paid $10 and another that paid $25.

Still not convinced this is a great site. Check out the pictures below.

I've made over $500 since joining this site in June.

SurveySpot moves to PayPal

SurveySpot has decided to switch their payment program to paypal. I am very excited about this. You will no longer have to wait 4-6 weeks for a check payment delivered through snail mail.

They have also gone to a points system, 1,000 points equals $10.00. If you qualify for and complete a survey that offers points, the points will be immediately added to your account. Once you reach the $10.00 cash out threshold you can request payment. I am not completely clear on how long it will take to receive your payments to your paypal account after requests are made though. The site states "As soon as the payment has been processed, you will receive an e-mail notification (please be sure to check your junk mail/spam filters for this correspondence). You can then immediately collect your reward by logging into your PayPal account!" but as I said I'm not clear as to whether this is an instant process or done manually.

If you have existing cash rewards from the old SurveySpot system be sure to log in and request a payment. Old cash rewards will not be converted to points. So don't miss out on any money you may have already earned. If you do have any unclaimed rewards from the old SurveySpot site you will see a link in the Rewards Claim area allowing you to claim the rewards on the old site in the form of a check.

SwagBucks get paid to search

Here is my second payment proof from SwagBucks which I received about two weeks ago.

SwagBucks is a portal that pays you in digital dollars called "SwagBucks" to use it's search engine, shop, and trade in your old electronics. You can also earn additional "SwagBucks" by inviting your friends. You can earn up to a hundred "SwagBucks" for every friend you invite. Finding "SwagBucks" is another way to earn earn. You can find "SwagBucks" by subscribing to the newsletter, reading the site blog, using the toolbar, submitting polls, and by connecting to the site through social networking sites such as Twitter and FaceBook.

I like cash ( $5 paypal will cost you 70 "SwagBucks") but there are many cool things you can trade in your "SwagBucks" for.

Gift Cards
Electronics
Posters
MP3's
Books and Magazines
Trading cards

There is a pretty large selection and they are always adding new "Swag".

I really enjoy using SwagBucks because I am getting "paid" for something I would do anyways.
