An Update

I must apologise to my readers for the lack of updates. I've had a rough start to the year.

Around Christmas time I found out from my brother that my father had been ill ( my father and brother live in Florida ). After going to the doctor for some tests my father was admitted to the hospital for severe anemia and was given a blood transfusion, While in the hospital they tried to find what was causing him to loose so much blood. They found what they thought was an ulcer. After a few days my Dad was released. He continued seeing doctors and had many tests run. It was determined that my father had stomach cancer. After another hospitalization and many more tests we found out that the cancer was also in his liver. He was stage IV. It was decided that there was nothing they could do to save my father..all that could be done was to try and make him as comfortable as possible. My father asked to go home..and we got hospice involved. My father was alive for less than 24 hours after returning home. I guess he got his last wish and was ready to let go. He passed on February 9th 2010.

This has been terribly hard on me emotionally. I was not able to make it home in time to see him..and was not even able to speak to him on the phone before he passed because he was so weak. I miss him. I think about him daily and regret not speaking to him more when he was alive.

As I am sure you can imagine this has been a lot to deal with. My blog was honestly the last thing on my mind in the previous months and I hope you understand.

I have continued to be paid for taking surveys and completing offers online. Some of the recent payments I have gotten are from Toluna,SimpleGPT,InstantCashSweepstakes,SurveyHead, Opinion Place, Survespot,Mindfield, and just today MyPoints.

I have payment proofs from all of the above mentioned sites in previous entries if my word alone is not enough and you would like to see some evidence of payment.

I plan to update my blog more regularly now that life has calmed down a bit. Thank you for your patience.
